The services we offer are ranged from business support, process analyses and implementation to project management, change management and tool selection. FPI can and will deliver the expertise you need.
A team of consultants provides an on-site business process analysis workshop using our specialized, proven FPI methodology. During the workshop, the team works with the customer to identify and confirm business objectives and analyze the business processes that support those objectives. Our consultants then analyze production processes in step-by-step detail to identify areas where change (to process or technology) could be valuable. Once the current processes have been analyzed and documented, participants work together to build a vision on the ideal environment. Finally, the team identifies changes that should be made to move from the current environment to the vision environment, determines the change impact, and identifies the expected benefits in terms of cost and time savings. When the data collection workshop is complete, the information will be analyzed from several perspectives, including process, technology, organization, business, and financial. Then a compilation is made with a comprehensive needs analysis report that details our findings, conclusions, and recommendations. This preliminary report is iterated with the customer to produce a final report that provides suggestions (with cost and return on investment implications) for defining new system requirements and improving business processes to help achieve the customer's objectives.
Well-defined and well-understood requirements are key to any successful project. So often, the input to an IT project is a set of ‘solutions' rather than true requirements. In addition to helping you define these ‘solution' requirements, we will link them to your business objectives and success criteria so that you know when your project is ‘done' and whether or not it delivered its intended business value.
FPI works together with its customers to analyse existing processes, identify process improvement opportunities, and to optimize workflow. Investigation of workflow includes review of authoring, administration, management, and production processes, as well as processes involved in interfacing with other systems. This analysis also helps refine our customers' information management requirements and assists in determining which product(s) will best fit the customer's business requirements.
Right after its people, data is a company's most valuable commodity. An appropriate data model - one that solves today's problems and anticipates tomorrow's - is the essence of a good application. Since data models outlive the programs that use them, getting them right the first time is of paramount importance. Otherwise, companies will have to cope with problems that become more expensive to solve in due course. FPI helps companies develop a model that is best for the situation, and to judge the trade offs between performance and normalization.
Market data is one of the biggest expenditures of a financial service company and is crucial for the daily business, streaming throughout the organisation from Front to Back Office and back. That is why special attention is required to use market data in the most optimal way and is control of high importancy. As SIIA/FISD certified professional, FPI does help the client with:
The evaluation of solutions (tools) is necessary to determine which products best satisfy the requirements of a customer. FPI provides its customers with a vendor-neutral approach to tool evaluation. This approach allows us to examine customer's requirements, then evaluate and recommend tools that are capable of meeting the requirements without tying the customer to a proprietary software solution. FPI has experience evaluating and integrating the top information management tools on the market. Our evaluations involve identifying tools' core functionalities as they pertain to the customer's requirements. Therefore, FPI evaluates tools differently for different customers and does not repeatedly recommend the same tools.
Needless to say FPI is foremost equipped with the knowledge and experience to successfully implement the solutions we offer to the market. One of the major USP's of our offering is the use of Local expertise where possible to ensure the best communication and pricing of an implementation project. It is FPI vision that by delivering ready to use applications and local implementation expertise and support we've optimized our offer to our customers not the least from a risk perspective.
